We will perform a survey that is designed to evaluate your organization's current and future needs. With the information provided, our designers will begin the design process by developing a basic usage diagram that will depict the areas of usage and how they interact with each other.

Q: Can we design around a long range plan for growth and expansion?

Our design team will work with you to develop a comprehensive long-range plan intended to accommodate growth and the development of the property. This plan can be laid out in phases, so that future guesswork is taken out of the quotient.

Q: How much is my project going to cost?

Identifying costs early on is critical to the success of your project. Budgeting at a high level will start as early as the Plan phase, with periodic updates that will increase in detail and accuracy as the project design develops.

Q: Can our existing building be updated?

Q: How much will it cost? Can you guarantee that number?

At final design and before you break ground we will have developed an all-encompassing cost estimate of your project. We will then deliver to you a Guaranteed Maximum Price for your project that will consider all costs according to the scope of your project at final design.

Q: What if I can't afford to build what has been designed?

It is rare that our clients can't afford to build what is designed. As a long-time Design/Builder we have the experience in knowing how to get you off the drawing board and into the ground. If for any reason, after utilizing our tools, moving forward with construction does not work for you, you can simply not accept the Guaranteed Maximum Price offer and walk away from the project.

Q: How long will it take to build/renovate?

A: Mishler Schedule Management Tool:
We use a Schedule Management Tool that determines the length of time it will take from the inception of your project to unlocking the doors of your new facility. Additionally, this same tool will detail the critical paths of your project construction enabling us to foresee how to maneuver around delays to keep your project on target to completion. The best part of this tool is it will show you all of this before we break ground!

Q: Can you assure me that you will construct a quality building safely?

A: Mishler Quality & Safety Assurance Tool:
Mishler has established a reputation for delivering quality projects, on schedule…safely! Some firms only check quality on the end finishes of the construction. We have a multi-point Quality Assurance Tool that guarantees the quality of your project not simply as an after thought, but rather as an integral component built into your design. Additionally, our Safety Assurance Tool provides the highest level of safety for everyone working around the project.

Q: Do you bid out the project to sub-contractors? Are they qualified?

A: Mishler Partnership and Alliances Tool:
At Mishler, we pre-qualify all of our sub-contractors and suppliers long before we ask them to bid on your project. We never open bidding to the general sub-contractor public! This is to ensure that all subcontractors align with your goals and ours. It is important for us to qualify every sub-contractor and supplier bidder on the basis of performance, safety, financial stability, insurability and quality.

Q: Do you use local sub-contractors?

We pre-qualify local recommended sub-contractors the same way we qualify everyone else! That way we know if they align with your goals and ours. We qualify every sub-contractor and supplier (local or otherwise) on the basis of performance, safety, financial stability, insurability and quality.

For non-profit ministry organizations, we offer a means for you to allow individuals to participate in a limited scope of the project. We also provide opportunity for your organization to utilize the construction period as a way to minister to those working on your facility. Q: Do you warrant the building?

A: Mishler One Year Workmanship Warranty and Walk-Through Tool:
Mishler provides you with a one-year workmanship warranty on your entire project and we back that with a two-month and eleven-month walk-through during the warranty. If we find something wrong or you have issues with the workmanship of your project during the warranty period, we make sure it's corrected before your warranty expires. This proactive approach guarantees your satisfaction.
